About me, my experience and qualifications...
Life and Leadership Coach | Facilitator | Social Worker in Private Practice Bachelor of Social Work (Unisa) | HIV & Care Counselor (Unisa)
I am deeply passionate about guiding individuals, teams, and groups toward meaningful growth, both in-person and online. With a strong foundation in practical experience and academic expertise, I create spaces where people can explore their challenges, strengthen their potential, and take action toward lasting transformation.
As a registered counsellor, I’ve supported individuals through addiction, grief, trauma, anxiety, burnout, and major life transitions—both personal and workplace-related. Over the years, I’ve developed expertise in designing and implementing Employee Assistance Programmes (EAPs) and workplace wellness strategies that foster healthier, more engaged work environments.
My journey into leadership development was shaped by a strong interest in organisational culture and how it influences personal and professional well-being. This led me to take on leadership roles in Human Resources within the petroleum and retail industries, where I honed my skills in team effectiveness, conflict resolution, change management, performance growth, and employee communication strategies.
A perspective that continues to guide me is this: “You are allowed to be a masterpiece and a work in progress at the same time.” I believe we are all capable of extraordinary things, even as we learn and evolve. The right support doesn’t just provide insight—it equips individuals to move beyond feedback and take tangible steps toward success. My mission is to bridge that gap, making coaching accessible, affordable, and truly transformative.
With a strong curiosity about neuroscience and the power of a growth mindset, I pursued further studies to become a certified coach. This enabled me to blend coaching and counselling in a way that empowers individuals and teams with practical strategies for personal and professional flourishing.
Beyond coaching, I am also an Insights Discovery Associate Facilitator and an independent team facilitator. I lead workshops that help companies and schools build more effective, connected teams.
Some of my most impactful workshops include:
🔹 Navigating Difficult Conversations – Reframing conflict to foster constructive dialogue.
🔹 Emotional Intelligence – Strengthening self-awareness and deepening interpersonal connections.
Both workshops are available online and in person, designed to be engaging, practical, and immediately useful in everyday situations. Grounded in neuroscience and research-backed strategies, they offer valuable frameworks for lasting change.
In addition to coaching and facilitation, I’m actively involved in public speaking and guest lecturing on topics such as sexual harassment, substance abuse, workplace stress, burnout, and leadership. I firmly believe that knowledge is a catalyst for change—when people have the right information, they uncover new ways to overcome challenges that once seemed impossible.
A quote that inspires me every day: “Education is the most powerful tool you can use to change the world.”
And that’s exactly what I’m committed to—helping individuals harness their potential, break through limitations, and step into their fullest capabilities. Would you like me to tailor this further for a specific audience?
